More info from the alternate juror. I am posting this stuff, not to call him stupid, or impugn the jury's decision.....but to shed light on what they saw, how they viewed this case.

From, Russ, Alternate juror speaks out

........."Russ felt it was an accident that was covered up by a dysfunctional family.

He connected the duct tape because that is how the Anthonys buried their pets. George couldn’t remember how they buried them. Cindy said they used packing tape but Lee said they used duct tape.

The jurors felt George was too combative on the stand and felt he was not being truthful.

Russ did not believe that a body was ever in the trunk because they only had one strand of hair. He did not see a stain in the trunk that would be decomposition.

Russ could not comment about George sexually abusing Casey as there was not enough evidence.

One important thing that we all questioned months ago and Russ made note of it. “When George picked the car up at the tow yard, why didn’t he call 911 when he smelled the decomposition.”

The jury voted emotionally. They saw the prosecution as bullies beating up on Jose Baez and Baez was doing everything he could to take the light off of his client by disruption. He got the bad stuff out of the way at the beginning of his speeches by pretending he was not lying about his client but bringing everything bad that the jury needed to know about his client. That done he started the Jose Baez show by continual distractions

THIS is something that has bothered me, but I think that George was dominated by Cindy (henpecked). Neither one would want to believe the worst. Cindy had to go with him to pick up the car -- to bring the money in cash -- nearly $500. She was already furious at the cost and tried to argue with the tow yard. I think that Goerge just split, using his job as an excuse, knowing that Cindy would handle the rest. I think that both would want to investigate a little further to try to find a reasonable investigation before calling in the police. This is like a battered woman who does not call the police because her batterer might lose his job and leave her with no means of support. Not rational, but it happens all the time.

Alternate jurors don't go into deliberations with the 12 other jurors yet when this alternate was first asked about his response to the verdict he used the words “What WE understood”. Then in another interview when he said “we” he corrected himself and said at least that's what I think the other believe.

I just heard the interview again on HLN and he said “WE”.

There is no doubt in my mind that this jury talked about the case before they went into deliberation and I wish there was a way someone could prove it. And, I wonder if this would nullify(sp) this jury for not following the judges orders.
