I asked what you think, not what you know. I understand the whole beyond a reasonable doubt, but morally, I have a problem with it. It bothers me that the law compels me to vote not guilty in a case where I’m pretty certain the defendant is guilty just because prosecutors are incompetent.

Man. All I heard for 5 weeks was how brilliant and what geniuses the prosecutors are. Now they are incompetent? I bet if you were on the jury you would have voted not guilty too. Are you a Freeper and you have a moral problem with the constitution? Please get a grip. I think the state did not prove the case. That is all. I have no idea what occurred. And I really think HLN is in big trouble. Big trouble. Their company lawyers are smelling it and you will notice a pullback. The Lawyers who have been spouting on TV are in trouble with their various Bar Associations. Bet on it.

I pray I never find myself on that kind of jury. The prosecution came up with a great and probably true theory, but just not a lot of evidence to back it up. Certainly the child was dumped in the swamp, and probably murdered, but by whom? The mother's certainly guilty of something, but what? How much evidential weight does the defendant's demeanor carry?
