Yes, so in my mind it boils down to "beyond reasonable doubt" in the minds of this particular jury. Other variables aside, quite a crapshoot for a defendant.
Whether we'd like to believe otherwise, we bring a perspective based upon our life experience into a courtroom. Some people are better able to compartmentalize than others. How many people doubt a different jury composition might have yielded a "guilty" verdict in the OJ trial?
