Ominous? That its possible for a trial verdict to go in favor of the accused? In this country?
If this had been a Soviet-style or Red Chinese-style show trial where the verdict is a forgone conclusion, then I would say that the verdict is ominous.

Ominous, when enough evidence — yes, circumstantial, but admissible — was present to convict her. Jurors apparently want to see video footage of the crime in progress.
And, not even... failure to report a death, or improper treatment of human remains. Maybe those aren’t crimes in FL; they are in other states.
Why else would she try to cover it up? What was the motive? And how about that death stink in the car?
So, yeah... ominous. And it doesn’t take a stretched comparison with Red China or the USSR to draw that conclusion.
