Where are these “reams of evidence”? Very little helpful evidence pointing to Casey was actually presented in this case.

Even the 'defense' said that Casey was with Caylee when she DIED. That is enough in a sane world to make Casey legally culpable for child abuse.

I think people have gone insane, and liberals are waiting in the wings for Zanny the government nanny to fill the vacuum this case was created.

So assume you are a parent (if you aren’t one already). You come home and find your child dying. Does that mean you killed or abused him/her? Not necessarily. Is it probable? sure but juries are supposed to rely on more than mere probabilities.
