Sorry you feel that way. Case wasn’t proven. That’s how it works in America.
I think she probably did it, but that isn’t good enough.
I would rather guilty people walk free than innocent people get locked up.
No. They will find some real innocent person someplace and pin it on him.
It’s a mindset where the one will lead to the other. In Casey’s mind, no doubt, she had a retroactive abortion. So very sick. And a “jury of her peers” thinks that’s just fine.
This jury should forever be ashamed.
The verdict of guilty of 1st degree murder requires more than a hunch.
I am reassured by this verdict.
The woman may very well have done it but the jury has very specific responsibilities which I believe they fulfilled in this case.
The jury must decide upon the evidence and testimony and not by the light of the torches and shouts of an angry mob with a lynching rope.
I experienced injustice first-hand. Our system must carefully guard against it.
The Defense team is speaking.
Cheney , you need to rein it in , blasting folks for 3 years of specualtion. Dude.
If Casey didn’t kill Caylee,, Who did?
Jose , you lie.
If she’s been in 3 yrs and the max for the 4 lying counts is 1 year, I can see how she’s get out on time served.
Re: “Now CASEY gets to face the COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION!!!”
********************
I’d say those ‘JURORS’ had better watch their own backs as well —
Baez should not even try humble.
Cayley put the duct tape on herself, went to the swamp, got in the bag and closed it before losing her breath.
No justice for Cayley.
The slippery slope is HERE.
Its a shame that the taxpeyers of Florida have to pay for this freaking show.....If Casey or Baez make any money off of this they need to repay the state
Now the f===ing defense team is going to lecture everyone?
We look like the biggest morons to the rest of the world.
I wouldn’t convict someone of speeding on a 70% probability. This isn’t a civil case where the standard is the preponderance of the evidence — it’s higher by design. As for the folks who are outraged, you win some, you lose some, but the duty of a jury is to check their emotions at the door and follow the law.
Excellent point. That's why filing the proper charges is so crucial. The prosecutor is supposed to balance what he thinks happened with what he believes he can prove. If you've got a 1st degree murderer, but you only have manslaughter evidence, you have to choose between your political image and actually getting the perp behind bars.
It's clear what the prosecutor chose here.
AMEN!
He based his opinion on logic and reasoning. When you've got a hand-picked jury, all bets are off.
So tired of the lies and hatred that has been and is being spewed by the defense, not to mention the defendant and her family. Sick sick sick!
