I agree, except now that he’s running for President, Newt’s less interesting to listen to.

HA! The REAL Zenaida Gonzales served Casey Anthony with a defamation lawsuit today in jail. She won’t be able to take the 5th on that one.

ROFL! I swear to GOD yesterday after this verdict began to become real I called my son and said- were now in the twilight zone AND WTH just happened? Is this some kind of mind control game thats just been perpetrated on the country? Honestly- its that bizarre to me! One thing thats fascinating though- we can learn so much about how and why we come to conclusions we do- and how much and what kind of information we use to reach them.
SE Mom, I'm wondering how much information that the public had, was actually presented in court. Prior to the trial, the prosecution released transcripts of depositions, etc which then were presented by various media organizations.
i.e. the deposition transcript by Lee Anthony regarding the horrible smell eminating from Casey's car is pretty powerful. If he was never asked about this in court, or he changed his testimony at all, the jurors weren't operating with the same set of facts the rest of the public had access to.

Tim Miller, from EquiSearch, telling HLN that one of Cindy Anthony’s distant relatives has offered to take Casey.
To: surrey
This relative lives in Houston.

I NEVER praised that bunch, the “Pinellas 12”. Clearwater/St. Pete is a liberal cesspool. Those idiots were making a politial statement against the death penalty without considering the evidence. And there was PLENTY of evidence.
It was a circumstantial case. No video tape of the monster duct-taping her baby and throwing her in the swamp. Too bad.
To: truthkeeper
I wondered if the people Casey and her defense team drug through the mud might do this.

Tim Miller now saying he is seriously considering suing Casey, the Anthonys and possibly Baez. He was called in to find a missing child and they knew she wasn’t missing.
To: surrey
Please don’t tell me that.

“You are not there to deduce what might have happened.”
Like hell you aren’t. Deductive reasoning is unavoidable, particularly in a criminal trial. Unfortuantely, a lack of deductive reasoning is a major problem in this country. One can’t suspend their deductive reasoning abilities at the courthouse door.

Wait a while. What’s going to happen when they try to ditch Casey and she doesn’t want to be ditched?

It was very difficult for the prosecution to prove their case because it took so long to find little Kaylee’s body.
Why would anyone put duck tape on her face if she died in an accidential drowning?
We may never know the circumstances of her death but by lying for so long....Casey helped to destroy any evidence that would have told the truth about what happened.
Also the police who delayed investigating the meter reader’s reports of seeing bones in the woods contributed to the degradation of the evidence.
I expected at least ‘manslaughter’ verdict so I’m still shocked.
