Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
The waitresses at this bar are hugging them too. That would be the last place I ever supported with my money...

Casey Anthony: Celebration, lewd gestures follow verdict
As Casey Anthony’s attorneys celebrate, unhappy spectators gathered outside Terrace 390.
Defense attorneys Jose Baez and Cheney Mason celebrated their victory shortly after the not-guilty verdicts were read with a champagne toast at Terrace 390, a restaurant onNorth Orange Ave.
But as word of their gathering got out, people clustered in front of the restaurant’s glass doors, where spectators could see attorneys hanging out with about 20 other people inside, including TV personality Geraldo Rivera.
“They shouldn’t be celebrating,” said Wanda Tyler of Orlando. “A little girl is dead and they helped her killer go free.”
Spectator Patrick Fowler, of Tampa, called out for Baez to leave the restaurant. He didn’t think justice had been served and made that known. Baez, who was drinking what appeared to be a beer, looked up and smiled a few times.
One of his drinking companions, a tall, slender man wearing a plaid shirt, came close to the door and made a lewd gesture with hand.
A couple of minutes later, Mason moved closer to the door and made a lewd gesture at Fowler.

There is your “professional” sleazy ass attorneys!
So why not call 911? Why drive around with the body of your baby in the trunk, finally throwing her in some swampy area like trash? How does that even pass the smell test of an accident?
When my son fell and cracked his head when I wasn't watching, I rushed him to the emergency room, terrified. I wasn't even thinking about ME, I was worried about my BABY!
It may have been "something" that spiralled out of control, but it was definitely initiated by Casey.
The plain and simple fact of this case is the prosecution blew it big time. They had a weak case to begin with, presented what evidence in a haphazard manner to the point that the theory of their case was constantly shifting throughout the trial and ending up in the embarrassing position of being caught laughing at the opposing side during closing arguments and finally nearly begging for a verdict on the final close.
The jury can only deal with what is presented to them and as the saying goes garbage in - garbage out.
The prosecutor alone is to blame for this travesty.
If you're arguing that the criminal defense attorneys did a better job in selecting a stupid jury that would buy their case, then I'm not disagreeing with you there. Fact is, even with that, no reasonable person can listen to the evidence in this case and *not* conclude that Casey was 100% guilty. There was no more evidence presented to the jury in the Scott Peterson murder of his wife Laci, and the jury got that one right. Or, do you believe there was stronger evidence against Scott than against Casey? Basically, all they had on him was a bunch of lies and a bunch of circumstantial evidence...the same as for Casey, no more, no less.
Geraldo said something tonight that I did not know.
He said that Casey had been offered a plea deal over and over and she refused. He said she was offered a plea for negligent manslaughter. Now as to how Geraldo knows this I do not know.
So Casey refused to take a plea....well hindsight and all, but I guess it was a good idea. Evidently the prosecution was leaning towards Caylee’s death was some kind of accident.
I guess that’s why the prosecution “went after” the death penalty for this case although they did it softly. They had to put something higher on the charge since Casey turned down what I think really happened...negligent manslaughter.
I’m not all that sure why the jury didn’t charge her with manslaughter but they didn’t. I’ll do some reading over the next couple of days but for now I really think that the jurors were just overwhelmed, there was no cause of death detailed, so much that seemed so nebulous....and that big death penalty thing cast a pall over the thing. The defense, as I’ve stated plenty, did a terrific job, and it IS their job.
I’ll never be convinced that anybody else killed Caylee but her own mother. For sure I’ll never buy that the child’s grandfather took an accidentally drowned child and threw it in the woods, come on.
What I didn’t misunderstand is that you were using the alleged mental issues you perceive Casey as having in determining her guilt or innocence. These issues were not addressed in court and such are not evidence to be used in deciding the verdict. I believe more than one juror made errors similar to yours and the result is a guilty woman went free.
Thanks for completely missing my point.
Murder does not equal hiding a body.
Scenario 1:
1. Casey kills her daughter.
2. Casey hides the body.
Scenario 2:
1. Cayley drowns in the pool.
2. Casey was away/drunk/partying/passed out/watching TV/whatever and is afraid of a charge of criminal child neglect (not abuse, for which there was no evidence, but neglect). She hides the body.
Which happened? The evidence isn’t sufficient to determine which. and Casey wasn’t charged with criminal child neglect or with concealing the body. If she had, you might have something, but she wasn’t.
The buck stops with the idiot jurors. CASE CLOSED.
Geraldo is partying with them!

Casey Anthony defense team partying across from courthouse
Two hours after the jury returned multiple not guilty verdicts in the Casey Anthony murder trial, lead attorneys Jose Baez, Cheney Mason along with their associates could be seen toasting one another with champagne, celebrating the exoneration of their client.
CNNs Headline News Jane Velez Mitchell followed the now, infamous criminal defense attorneys to the Terrace 390 restaurant just across the street from the Orange County courthouse, but could not get inside as private security guards have been posted outside.
An angry crowd has also gathered outside the restaurant, expressing disbelief at the verdict and anger over Casey Anthonys lawyers celebrating as little Caylee Anthony lies dead in her grave, after her body was found like so much garbage in a Florida swamp.
The judge more or less made the Prosecution accept at least one and supposedly more of the jurors that were seated. One based on a race card played by Baez. My opinion of the judge is dropping fast.
Pam Plesea - Casey’s Aunt, SAME ON THIS JURY!
Dunno. Do you? Does anybody? That is the point. Only Casey know what went on. And she does not have to incriminate herself. I can not believe I have to point this out to Freepers. So the defense theory is just as good or better than the state. Result due to burden not guilty. The mob is just that a mob. Do not be a part of it. I think these trial shows should be stopped. They should only show the actual trial on the media. Not the commentators. Two rights are conflicting here. 1st and 5th amendments. And the 9th. Maybe even a few more.
shame......the aunt was amazing.....says no one should pay this girl a penny for her story.
Well it evidently worked on you.....the prosecution did meet meet their burden, blame them.
Since when did you ever think the Government was competent?
Maybe your anger is misplaced.
Do you think Charlie Manson should be in prison?
Geraldo ‘knows’ because he is friends with that sleaze bag, Jose Baez. I wouldn’t believe a damn thing he says. He is Baez’s mouthpiece.
(sigh)
Unfortunately everyone is in Lynch Mob Mode(tm). I wonder if it was like this in Salem, MA.
Next there will be screams for a scarlet “M” on her clothes.
What goes around comes around.
LVR get any monsoonal rain and light show?
I agree with you fully. Especially that Casey (like OJ) will be in trouble with the law again. FWIW I have lived with a psychopath for 23 years. My husband’s ex-wife and I could tell you stories about what she did to my daughter and me that might just curl your hair. I am painfully aware of the damage psychopaths create in everyday life.
I am assuming your question is rhetorical. But if its not, there are a dozen men and women in Orlando that did just that.
