Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
Yeah, I'd love to hear from those alternates..
You are being logical. That does not apply to most here.
I hope you never bred. Please tell me you have no children.
I am hoping the "court of public opinion" will not give her the notoriety she will now seek. But there are the thugs and underworld types who will pay a price for her story.
This is just a reflection, truly, of the status of our country...and it is that we must make one last ditch attempt to hang onto this next election....if we fail....nothing thereafter is going to save it...it'll be a done deal. We're in fact close to that already...hard thing to hear Americans in foreign countries say there is more freedom there then in the USA.
The jury doesn’t even want us to see their faces...they know they judged wrong
Yes, that does speak volumes. I wonder if they are ashamed.
One thing about it, we are finding out who all the FR lawyers are today. Might prove to be useful information down the road.
I hope when it dawns on the jurors that she actually did kill that baby, that it eats at them until they can’t stand it anymore. When they see what an evil person they set free, they will know they were just in too much of a hurry to get out. Didn’t even ask to review evidence. bah!
Can you blame them? They probably think they let a murderer off the hook. But there still wasn’t enough to prove she indeed was her daughter’s killer.
With your nauseating glee, you're not very high on the food chain yourself.
Please re-read your post. If we claim to be Constitutional conservatives, we can never advocate such a thing. Mob mentality is what Ann Coulter was writing about: no good can come from it.
Possibly, someday one of those jurors’s lives will be touched by a child murder... and the perp may walk... and they’ll know — personally — what a miscarriage of justice is all about.
No, you don't understand the system.
Remove the emotion and think here for a second. If you can inflame people to a belief with no proof and then condemn them, is that the kind of system you want?
The prosecution has the burden of proving beyond a reasonable doubt, they could not do that in this case.
It's the way it is, you have to accept that not everything is perfect in life, but you cannot convict on what you think rather then what you can prove.
The judge won’t release their names at this time either.
“...if they don’t let her back in...”
Th Anthony house will burn to the ground, mysteriously, with George and Cindy’s bodies found inside?
Prediction: A freed Casey will make Lizzie Borden look like a piker.
The opposite.
He fled Cuba which makes him ten times more of a anti-communist than your ass in Atlanta.
the alternates have not been asked yet. it remains to be seen whether the alternates are willing to appear.
By this standard it is now easier to get away with murder than shoplifting. Common sense is no so common.
You think that the evidence bar should be set just a little bit higher when a person is being tried for a crime that they could be killed or imprisoned for life if convicted?
Of course juries give the prosecution more leeway when the stakes are less.
we pay a very high price for our freedom....
And it is better by far than we are in a polcie state.
