Here is WHAT I think is SHEER idiocy.
I have NEVER seen so much “NO SHE WON’T RUN” sentiments expressed about any non-candidate in the history of this country (I’m a Political Science major) than has been expressed about this one person.
I will call out and say that ALL those expressing such sentiment are betraying their own bias! Period!
I say that because there MORE EVIDENCE that she WILL RUN than there is that SHE WON’T RUN!
The only ‘non-candidate’ that holds the record of keeping EVERYONE guessing for decades is non other than MARIO CUOMO!
AND... the prognostication for the entire duration was not ... “HE’S NOT RUNNING!” but rather “IS HE RUNNING?”.
Ok. Like I have posted several times already, of those (like you) who are very certain of their position, one camp is going to be very, very wrong.
I don’t know if Palin will run. She might (she ought to). But as of today, I don’t see the activity that is consistent with a Presidential campaign. But that could also change at any moment, and it might well.
The point being, I think watching and speculating is perfectly fine. This is, after all, a rather important election. But I think some humility is warranted. That message, however, seems lost on lots of folks here, and elsewhere.
So we shall see in a month or two. You might be right. But you might also be dead wrong.
