Lol. You got a big laugh outta me and the Mayor. And we needed it...after having spent most of our waking hours trying to stop the fiasco they’re calling the “Marriage Equality Act.”

Cuomo was one of the key players responsible for the US Housing meltdown as HUD Secretary during the Clinton years, and now he’s just added a whole new host of beneficiaries to the already heavily overburdened NY taxpayers, in the middle of a severe recession and record debt — not to mention exponentially promoting the lifestyle of a primarily affected population in the middle of an epidemic with no known cure. Wait, I just did. Anyway the Status Cuomo’s about as viable a VP candidate as my big toe.

Throwing Joe Biden under the bus?

It will be amusing watching as they pry Joe’s lips from Obama’s ass to make way for Cuomo to get stuck there.

I can’t blame the Liberal Messiah for wanting to dump Vice President Foot-In-Mouth, but Cuomo would have to be a moron to hitch his wagon to the sinking ship that is the Obama Administration.

Ya, considering that Cuomo is now a rising star in the Democrat party, he could have a long political future beyond Albany in front of him. But his career could be aborted if he joined Obama in a losing campaign in 2012. I don’t think Cuomo would run that risk of losing badly with Obama in 2012, if he’s hoping for a long political future.

I don’t know who’s the bigger mobster — Omoslem or Cuomo.

Omoslem adds the Islamic flavor to his mafia behavior.

Cuomo is more of an old-school Capone-style capo.

Cuomo’s credibility would be shot forever.

And they’d still lose.

More idle Beauty Contest/Spectator Sport crap I hate getting into.
He might say yes, he might say no.
They have been saying the same thing about Christie entering the fray on the Republican side, and
Cuomo is Christie-lite. Christie (MY Governor) has said NO, and I believe him.
Cuomo’s so-called ‘big successes’ remain to be seen, and only when New Yorkers can really feel that a burden has been lifted off them will they certify Cuomo as a Governor who helped them.A property tax cap can be seen as “a big deal” only in a state like NY, which is already grossly overtaxed. The scenario of Obama picking Cuomo and Cuomo saying YES would provide the Dem voter with a full ticket
of Executives who still have “a lot to do” to get their respective Agendas pushed through, and would taint the
credibility of much of what Cuomo said he wanted to do in NY.
At many points along the way, Obama’s agenda would be bound to bump against Cuomo’s. Ain’t gonna happen. And Obama could not win anyway, with ANY running mate. I do love hearing the ‘insiders’ talk about their predictions, sucking us once again into the Beauty Contest, and all its attendant breathless gossip.

When NY Gov Cuomo was Housing and Urban Development Secy under Clinton, he was the prime mover behind programs that destabilized Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and his programs to mandate banks loan to low-income and bad-credit homebuyers were a significant factor in the housing collapse.

Congresswoman Gillibrand served as Special Counsel to Andrew Cuomo (Pres Clinton's appointee as Secy of HUD). Gillibrand played a key role in furthering HUD’s Labor Initiative and *New Markets initiative (sub-prime mortgages); Gillibrand worked to strengthen the Davis-Bacon Act and drafting new markets legislation for public and private investment in building infrastructure to revitalize lower income areas across the nation."

"Sure, I know how I got the HUD job. Clinton needed my daddy in his corner,
so I got the HUD job. HUD is where I got the $18 million to run for Governor."

CUOMO AND BILL CLINTON CREATED CONDITIONS FOR MELTDOWN (Village Voice 8-5-08) Andrew Cuomo, the youngest Housing and Urban Development secretary in history, made a series of decisions between 1997 and 2001 that gave birth to the country’s current crisis. He took actions that—in combination with many other factors—helped plunge Fannie and Freddie into the sub-prime markets without putting in place the means to monitor their increasingly risky investments. He turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded “kickbacks” to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans.

Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why.......

what a great time to connect Cuomo’s HUD history with the housing crisis!
And to connect Barry’s Fannie/Freddie cronies as well.

This would be a pair that could really ensure there will never be a recovery in the housing market.

Ohaha’s got zillions stashed away that he wants to use for his campaign.

But Ohaha desperately needs names and data to cover his FEC filings.

“Cuomosexuals” are ideal for this purpose.

Amazing...to the MSM Cuomo's experience is enough....but Palin's is not.....

the hypocrisy is just so overwhelming.....it would be comical if most Americans understood what the MSM is attempting to do....but in reality....it is down right frightening....

Obama needs Cuomo to win the gay vote ... that is the reason for the request. But, Obama will not change his position on gay marriage which negates having Cuomo as a running mate. The Cuomos are not VP material. They will hold out for the lead role. My bet is that Cuomo will challenge Obama, with full support of the homos, and win. The only answer to this will be Michelle Bachman. Personally, I do not favor a female president but if Cuomo runs for president, then we need to stand united behind the most conservative candidate. God help this nation!

I think Obama will change his supposed position on gay “marriage,” since he already started floating such a change in a few statements made last week.

However, I think you’re right and I don’t believe Cuomo would want to be second in command. Also, I honestly don’t think Bambi would chose Cuomo, because he’d be a lot more popular than Obama but I don’t think it would translate into any votes for Bambi. Dems would probably just decide they’d wait until Cuomo ran on his own.

I don’t care what sex or race the GOP candidate is. I just want a winner.
