One of the biggest dilemmas our governing class faces is that you never get credit for doing nothing. Sometimes, doing nothing is the best course of action (especially where the economy is concerned). Thus, Coolidge is routinely trashed by liberal historians. By the way, happy bithday, Silent Cal!

That’s exactly what the democrats are doing... Nothing, and hoping the GOP goes out front so they can blame them for further economic collapse. Which they themselves are responsible for and is sure to come.

Here is an experiment, ask your family, friends, and coworkers when the last budget federal passed. In my case, 100% didn’t know. The left and the MSM are setting up the narrative that the 2010 republican’s are destroying the economy and if we don’t get the truth out, everyone will believe it.

Calvin Coolidge said, “the business of America is business” and the Roaring Twenties lived up to its name with skyrocketing prosperity. Silent Cal attended every banquet function to which he was invited and merely remarked, “a man’s got to eat”.

He did relatively nothing and absolutely no harm.
