Maybe not. He voted to end Bush-era tax cuts and has supported organized labor and government bailouts of both General Motors and Chrysler.

I would like to hear his reasons for ending the Bush tax cuts, but as far as supporting the automobile companies - he is from 11th Mich. Livonia and surrounding areas. That's basically west Detroit. He can't tell most of his constituents to screw off. He gets a pass on that.

There were better ways to save GM than screwing the bondholders and taxpayers and giving GM to the UAW. He gets no “pass” from me.
