Cindy Anthony's bombshell claim that she looked up 'chloroform' on her home computer was dramatically undermined today as her former boss told the Florida court she was still at work when the searches were made.
Prosecutors allege Mrs Anthony made up the story to try to protect her daughter, Casey, who they say searched for information on chloroform, 'neck breaking' and death in the months leading up to the death of Caylee, her two-year-old daughter.
A chief compliance officer for Mrs Anthony's old company today produced records which showed she was still logged into her work computer on the afternoons she claimed to be conducting the internet searches at home

If the evidence of the searches only came from local web browser history and were not corroborated at Google, Bing, or whatever, then they will only bear local time stamps.
I guess he'll be cooling his heels in jail this Fourth of July weekend. He will definitely learn the value of freedom during his stay at the Vertical Bar Hotel.
Sadly or ludicrously (pick one or more) they’d never let a computer technician on the jury for such a case. This person would know too much and could throw a monkey wrench at the government. Only people who have to be spoon fed from the word go would be allowed.
Did they say that the father was dead?
Yep, I think we’re in agreement here.
Someone told me that last night! Although everyone here in Orlando seems to be obsessed with this case, I have paid minimal attention. I have tuned in a couple times to the all-day coverage since it is on every local channel. I missed that this week, though. Pretty remarkable to do that to your own child, but I support him 100%. If my child accused me of that, I think I would likely do the same.
I see. I’m pretty sure that it was claimed that he was dead.
Yeah, the father finally threw little Casey under the bus. Big mistake on the part of the Defense to accuse of sexual abuse the only person who actually loved Casey and believed in her. I may be wrong but I’ve been told that the judge will not allow the Defense in closing arguments to speak about either sexual abuse or accidental drowning since they presented no evidence to that effect. What a case!
Going waaaay out on a limb and predicting she will walk — except perhaps for the charges of lying to LE.
Casey claimed to her parents that the father of her child was dead. And yet again, these dopey people believed that story. Casey had many “imaginary friends” and the dead father was one of them. Most likely, she simply doesn’t know who the father was.
>”All three should be put to death’’< My sentiments exactly. These two parents produced the spawn of Hell. Sounds like the two of them are as complicit in this crime as their daughter is.
The compliance officer should know how that specific computer was time stamped. (and the logging may not even be on the computer itself)
I'm a bit anal about time, all of the computers I use tend to have Dimension4 installed and get frequent time checks. Watch with “atomic time”. Yeah, way too much.
Must not have anything else to do. Oh, except read FR.
Ooh, the report referred to the individual as “a chief compliance officer...” uh, “a” ? Either you are “the” chief or you're not, but you would not be “a chief.”
I'm glad my grammar is perfect. Hardly.
I wouldn't be surprised if she did. I have entertained the notion that she may get a retrial due to ineffective counsel. From what I see Baez's opening argument painted them into a very tight corner. It appears that he is way out of his league.
Don't shoot the messengers (to others)
Casey made up the MA boyfriend. She’s a crazy liar. The parents went up to MA to meet this guy (which shows how crazy THEY are) and were “stood up,” the same way the chief investigator was “stood up” when he went with Casey to Universal Studios to meet with her boss. Of course, it turned out that Casey had never been employed at Universal and she finally admitted it to the cop in the parking lot!!
I can't argue with that. I'll defer on this matter.
She looked up “neck-breaking”? My God, she was really determined to get rid of that little girl, wasn’t she. Why not just give her up for adoption? This woman needs to exit our world.
