You clearly haven’t followed the similarities very closely.

This might be days late and dollars short, but even though there are similarities between Jones and Beck, there are big differences. Glenn in some ways is a mix of Savage, Levin, Dobbs, some similarities with Jones, and also a guy named Neal Boortz in my opinion. But yet he doesn’t always agree with the others on everything.

Glenn Beck ranted about 9-11 conspiracies before, he hates them. Glenn ranted about secret societies, he doesn’t think they are a proven threat. Glenn even imitated Alex Jones once to attack him. And Jones then started calling out Beck.

Glenn doesn’t like most GOP, but he is fan of Michele Bachmann, Steve King, Sarah Palin, and Jim DeMint to mention some. But Glenn has hit the history angle to discuss how progressives infiltrated the GOP so he hates many like McCain and Scott Brown and even called out Dubya.

Jones hates both sides too. But Jones is a bit all over the map. Many guests have been unaffiliated like Jesse Ventura and Wayne Masden. But Jones is clearly a republican libertarian because he supports all those in the Ron Paul clan like Peter Schiff and Adam Kokesh.

Beck has different guests than Jones. Depends on the show and there were big differences between his radio show and his tv program on Fox News, but some overlapping. But Beck is more into conservatives. So there are similarities, but differences.

Beck will do a 2 hour show on the web expanding on his one hour Fox show. But, Jones will just do 30 minutes to add on to his radio show. Beck created a network called GBTV and then Jones admitted on air he was going to do something similar to keep up. But Jones is going slower. As I have heard it, and this month I haven’t kept up as much, Jones is still working things out. But Beck has been planning his ideas for sometime. I say both are taking the PJTV concept one step further.

Jones is more conspiracy. As in things he thinks are occurring. Beck is more into what is happening and if he has factual proof then he will run with it.

Sometimes, even if fans of both guys won’t admit it, Glenn Beck has sounded a bit like Mark Levin. I was trying to look up on youtube clips of Glenn talking about the Progressive era and about Democrats being racist and how the South switched to republican. I found a Mark Levin clip laying it all out exactly like Glenn had been saying it.

So it happens that many people echo each other. Then they hate each other. Mark called out Glenn then Glenn calls out Jones and Savage says Glenn stole from him ideas. It happens.

Alex says he is independent and libertarian of the Ron Paul kind. He brings up Ron Paul every show and has him on at least once a month. He hates both sides and doesn’t play a right vs. left thing. He focuses on the battle against the elite, the new world order and the globalists. He says both parties are complicit in this. Hence he uses people who the right hates to bash republicans, because they see what is wrong with the right. Yet, he uses others to attack the left. Says both sides are the same. They want power and when they get it are hypocrites.

But Glenn says progressivism is a cancer. It infected both parties. Glenn says it is all about right vs. left because the left wants to destroy the world with its socialism. Glenn wants to make it clear he hates republicans generally because they aren’t really conservative or libertarian. He is more of a libertarian-conservative. Sometimes his fiscal opinions are libertarian and sometimes they are conservative. He hates Neo-Cons and Rinos. He too has come to the conclusion of problems coming and that there is a new world order. But he says it is also a joining of all forces against the USA. So another group wants Islam to take over the world with Caliphate and Sharia. Jones talks more about 9-11 being an inside job to bring about a police state. Hence his site bans his website, because this site don’t agree, with the 9-11 conspiracies.

So again there are similarities, but differences. For Glenn the right means conservativism, not the GOP, I should note.

I say Alex is a independent-libertarian and somewhat of a republican of the Ron Paul kind. And Glenn Beck is a libertarian-conservative who likes the Tea Party conservatives. Granted Glenn has had Ron Paul on before, but no much. In fact it felt like he was distancing himself from Ron. But Ron came on one of Glenn’s last tv shows. Still, Glenn is not a 100% Ron fan. He has had Bachmann and others on more than Ron.

And that is my take.
