You seem to be rationalizing the facts in this case, which were dug up by the PROSECUTION. I am sure that there will be more damaging information about this woman who seems to be an inveterate liar.

Strauss-Kahn has said from the very beginning that the sex was consensual. I find it odd that a maid would go into a room and remain there after hearing someone in the shower.

She probably lied to get into the US (as did Hirsi Ali to get into the Netherlands). Big deal. And she lives in a bad neighborhood and “knows” a drug dealer. Another big deal.

Give me a break. I deal with immigration issues as part of a group that lobbies on the Hill and at the state level. I question how she could have possibly received asylum in this country. "The official says prosecutors believe the hotel housekeeper lied about various details on her application for asylum in the U.S., including a claim that she had been raped in her native Guinea."

This case seems to be more similar to the Duke rape case. We have a "poor" black immigrant hotel maid who was pounced on by a rich white guy and raped. Do you really believe that the head of the IMF would forcibly rape this woman the morning he was leaving the country? And that it ocurred by happenstance, i.e., she just happened to enter the room and he came out of the shower and raped her? Strauss-Kahn has said from the very beginning that the sex was consensual.

I am fairly confident that even more will come out about this woman who was far from being an innocent victim. It may have been a frame-up.

“Strauss-Kahn has said from the very beginning that the sex was consensual.”

Why are you repeating this when you know it is not true?

His lawyers argued in Court that he was not there - he was having lunch with his daughter.

Here is the bail application his lawyers filed.

In it they say their client was not on the scene at the time of the assault - but at a previously scheduled lunch with his daughter - characterized as an “ironclad” alibi - and 100% not consistent with the LIE that ‘he said from the very beginning that it was consensual’.

She’s been working at the hotel for three years, and this is her first scam? HELLO. and her friends were low grade drug dealers who used her identity to launder drug money, not high grade CIA operatives.

Sorry, I’ve treated a lot of rape victims, and unless she is a hooker like the Duke/LaCrosse accuser, or someone he picked up at a bar, like the accusers in the Subic rape case or the Kennedy Smith case, he has problems.

No, she’s getting slimed to get the guy off. There is no excuse for him to have sex with a hotel employee, even if she took all her clothes off for him and tried to seduce him. All he would have to do is call the front desk for help.

His story is that nothing happened, and then the DNA came back and he changed HIS story.

the “best case” scenerio is sexual harassment, since he was a VIP, she might see his attempt to seduce her as having the implication is that if she didn’t give in, he’d get her fired.
