Well thanks (whoever the hell you are) but, anyone can use Google to find out about people. (it was the first hit, btw)
Give me your real name and I’ll do the same for you.;)
Anytime governor Rick Perry is mentioned, Free Republic seems to turn into something resembling Democratic Underground.
Posts regarding Perry are peppered with profanity, vulgarity and downright fabrications- the likes of which is seldom seen on Free Republic.
This is hardly in the best interests of our Conservative agenda. The Loony Left does not need any help from us in
character assassination of our Conservatives.
This Perry trashing comes from the Ron truther Paul nuts, Debra Medina sour grapers and the resident FR Libs- and I suspect, over zealous Sarah Palin supporters and a few Bachmann supporters.
(I love Sarah and Michelle Bachmann as much as anyone else, but we MUST face reality when it comes to our beautiful Conservative ladies chances of winning this thing!)
Freepers, dont you think it more sensible to trust what the Conservative icons have to say about Perry?
>Sarah Palin threw her endorsement to Rick Perry for governor-. She recently restated that she likes Perry.
>Rush said that Perry is his dream candidate. http://gretawire.blogs.foxnews.com/rush-limbaugh-on-the-record-3/
>Michael Reagan praises Perry:
If you dont believe Reaganomics can still work in this day and age, for whatever reason, I say you should look no further than the state of Texas.
Under the leadership of Gov. Rick Perry, Texas has championed and built upon the concepts my father used to rebuild America in the 1980s..
In short, Reagan Revolution is alive and well - deep in the heart of Texas.

>Ted Nugent is a close friend and supporter.
Dont you think it more sensible to trust what numerous politicians and scholars have said about Rick Perry than some haters on FR?
VISIT THIS SITE
Read the official statements of dozens of Perrys fellow politicians and scholars (both Democrats and Republicans) have had to say about Rick Perry: http://www.politico.com/arena/archive/rick-perry-for-president-in-2012.html
All (including Democrat opponents) have called him a staunch Conservative, and not one of the dozens issuing opinions has mentioned the vaccine or TTC.
Apparently they dont consider these things an issue. They DID mention Perry threatening to secede from the unionas a strike against him.
What Perry actually said; You know, my hope is that America and Washington in particular pays attention, Perry continued. Weve got a great union. There is absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what may come out of that? So. But Texas is a very unique place and were a pretty independent lot to boot.
.
Well I guess there’s no sense wasting time on you then?
BTW: who’s got your vote?
As much as I've campaigned against some of Perry's policies, he looks to be our best hope this time around. The rest to this GOP group is, at most, half-assed. (that includes the non-committed)
This should be read by everyone
You really don’t have to wait for the next installment of the old broken down playboy ho’s character assassinations of our Conservatives.
It’s all here:

Amen!
I have never seen such a selective group of people on here post so many outright lies about Perry. And when I point out the lies or mistakes, it goes over their heads, and then they go to ad hominem attacks, then spout off the greatest examples of post hoc ergo propter hoc.
I like several of our candidates. I'm a big Palin fan. I like Cain. And, I like Perry. In my opinion, Perry has the best chance to beat Obama. Is he perfect? No. One can't find me a single candidate who is perfect. I disagree with him on a few things, but that's SMALL compared to the pros that he has against Obama.
based on what history?
the only reason Texas has jobs is inertia, we still aren't as bad as other states. Perry is moving us in the same direction as Kalipornia. What conservative judges?
Wolfie - you are missing the important point in all this discussion.
Kelleigh Nelson is a messenger only. You have attacked a messenger. That will not win you any accolades with those of us looking into the backgrounds of potential candidates.
I got a lot of that when I researched Obama’s background - people ripping at the sources of my information rather than trying to verify the information. Everything I learned in the summer of 2008 concerning Obama has been affirmed. All a researcher can do is provide information.
If you don’t believe Kelleigh, by all means, challenge her facts. But I already know, from my own research, that Rick Perry is a member of the Corrupt Old-boys Club in Texas.
I won’t vote for him - no way. If the people of Texas can tolerate him, so be it. But I do not want another New World Order believer as President.
I don’t care who wrote it. Are any of the facts untrue??
Even if the author is a slut, that doesn’t necessarily make her wrong.
lol.
You do understand that Texas is NOT that conservative, right? How many Republican Governors did we have in history before Bush?
Kay Bailey is a moderate, most of our Senators have been moderates as have most statewide elected office holders.
Same thing...same words...over and over and over...
But don't worry, the political insiders already decided to run this guy. They'll tell ya all about it in just a few days or weeks.
bttt
Go after messengers, go after the posters...make them the issue...Divert, evade, deflect...
Same old thing...Over and over and over.
Rick Perry is malleable and willing to be bought off (Merck, Cintra SA). He can be pushed into a corner to do something “conservative” once in a while. But he is not a conservative by conviction or instinct.
He is a Gummie Politician
I'm afraid other than maybe Ron Paul, we have no choice. You know as well as I who selects the POTUS and it isn't us.
Actually the only choice this time around is, anybody but Obama.
I just feel, Perry is the only one who can achieve that function.
Good post
Well, Geron, I feel somewhat responsible for the way some of you think. I protested against Perry’s policies so fevorishly a few years back, that I’m sure I made a few cohorts in the process.
Fact of the matter, Perry change his tune/mind/whatever after *listening* to what the people of Texas had to say.
You don’t get that a lot with Pols these day.
Perry can beat Obama and that’s what it’s all about. If ya’ll disagree and he doesn’t get the nod, welcome to 4 more for Barry. JMHO
