Watched on CSPAN, the claim that ‘the economy was brought back from the brink, and is now on the right track, but it will take time’, when reality is every economic indicator shows we are worse off now. Could someone please have Glinda magically transfers the powerful ruby slippers?

Yes, the US must ‘up it’s game’, but this isn’t what is being promoted by this administration that wants to punish people for being successful. The best motivation for ‘upping’ our game is to allow people to benefit from their efforts.
To be successful as a nation, we need to encourage people to work hard, take risks, and delay gratification in pursuit of long range goals. You don’t do that by punishing the successful and characterizing them as greedy. We are also not going to ‘up our game’ by rewarding union workers just because they are in unions, irrespective of their efforts or achievements.

Best line from the comment section:
“Obama says we “need to up our game”. Hey Obama! Up Yours!”

Nobody ain’t gonna do nuthin’ until you and your goons quit screwing around with the country. If you quit today, it would, IMHO, take at least two years before enough confidence could be gained to begin making a difference.
