Nothing but emotional rhetoric.
The biggest threat to the cop’s “right to go home at the end of his shift” is the cop’s own thuggish behavior.
(No cop hater either, my circle of friends contains lots of cops, and DAs)
The recent Marine in Pima county, Arizona murdered by cops was a victim of thuggish behavior. One of the cops entering was startled to see the Marine with a rifle in prone firing position, tripped and fell in the doorway, and had an accidental discharge. The rest of them started firing after that, murdering the Marine.
A major risk to cops is the incompetence and poor gun handling of other cops.
