I just had to find out where in the world she found a 2-seater spitfire. I never knew such a thing existed!

According to wikipedia her aircraft was flown in 1944 by the New Zealand AF...

A few were converted for training purposes. This particular aircraft was converted around 1950 when serving with the Irish Air Corps.
