IMO these types of errors should never occur. For heaven’s sake, he is reading it off of a teleprompter. Doesn’t anyone there check and double check facts? If it were my employee, they would now be known as “former”. Since he really doesn’t know anything about the military or their importance and appears to consider them irrelevant, it doesn’t surprise me either.
I don’t think he was reading the teleprompter this time. What writer would insert all the juvenile and insulting “You guys” references to the troops into a written speech? This was his lousy extemporaneous speaking ability on display and his very clear inability to think like an adult.
He kept saying “you guys”, stuttering, and then botched it all.
I really think the guy is a moron. If there is even one insider who isn't committed to Barry's Commie Cause, the stories in the book will be incredible. I bet they just sit him in the corner and let him watch SportsCenter while things are debated.
With the current Clown in Chief (CiC), we've got non stop errors.
Just recently, he "Royally" screwed up the toast to the Queen of England.
He read the Irish Priminister's speech on the teleprompter, in which he thanked "the American President."
He gave a blind, English politician a set of American Format DVDs.
He gave the nearly deaf Queen of England an iPod with his speeches.
As I recall, he also gave a "shout out" to one of his friends at a medal ceremony.
It's a new screw up every week!
I wonder who was responsible for letting him make such a horrible mistake. It isn’t like he ever thinks on his own. Maybe it was his “brain”, Valerie Jarrett.
As Glenn Beck said of obozo, “in his eyes and out his mouth, referring to his use of the teleprompter. He just reads what he sees and spits it out of his mouth. He has no feeling for the words or the occasion...he’s just an actor going through the motions.

According to the WH yesterday, these were unprepared remarks with no teleprompter. Watching the video, I would agree. A very poor presentation.
