3. Army Staff Sergeant Robert James Miller -- Obama, Posthumous
4. Army Staff Sergeant Salvatore Giunta -- Obama, 11/16/10
5. Army Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry (Pending)

Since Vietnam, only one living person has been awarded the Medal of Honor (Giunta).

Keeping track of three of the Nation's most honorable men, two of whom died for their country. Is that simple respect so difficult to master?

It’s only been 7 months since he hogged the stage at the ceremony for the only living Medal of Honor winner!

Obama will surely have a reasonable explanation:

“Giunta, Monti ... all those dago names sound the same to me. How come we can’t have Medal of Honor winners with real American names, like Obama?”

(BTW, the worst part of such an offensive statement would be that referring to recipients of the Medal of Honor as “Medal of Honor winners.”)

I guess that we should consider ourselves lucky that Obama didn’t say that he had awarded a Medal of Honor to “a Lieutenant Posthumous,” and wondering whether he was any relation to former Michigan Lieutenant Governor Dick Posthumus.

If getting the MOH meant it had to come from the POS obambi, I’d turn it down and if I were dead I’d want my family to as well.
