Well, anyone who exercises his God-given right to self-defense will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, I’m sure. If the state doesn’t do it, the feds will go after them on some bogus “civil rights” crap.

Nope. SC has the Castle doctrine where a citizen can stand his ground and protect himself or others from harm. And last month, the South Carolina Supreme Court “liberalized” the Castle Doctrine to include shooting and killing perps for even the slightest transgression against you and your property. It’s open season on thugs in SC.

There’s also a 19th century law in SC that allows citizens to drop a thug committing any felony after dark, which includes stopping him if he’s running away. I’m still researching that one and feel uncomfortable positing any “dos” or “don’ts.”
