Exactly my thought. Marines out at 0230, they were probably falling down drunk.

I used to stand medical watch when we were in port. My job was baby sitting Marines that had drunk themselves blind. It always kind of scared me thinking about our fighting men getting so polluted walking down foreign streets. Bad things happen when you make yourself vulnerable.

In fairness, you were also watching the Sailors who had consumed just as much! I know, I was on SP duty more than once and there were an equal number of drunk Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen almost every night!
