You’re right that Rand didn’t contemplate China, a creation of the wealthy in the US; the basic principles of Rand still stand as the US slides into oblivion.
Rand also failed this test: He who controls the military, rules. Rand declined to address this.
It still is my favorite book.
Without the taxes extracted from those who actually pay taxes... where will the government get the money to pay the military?
