How does the repeal of DADT improve the Marine Corps ability to fight its nations wars?

That's the big question. My daughter who is in the Coast Guard and I agree that it would be poetic justice for men to have to deal with sexual harassment from other men, the way we women do from men ... but it wouldn't be productive for our national defense, and that's the real point.

Seaman Anoreth has learned to apply a forceful but "accidental" blow to a sensitive spot, during two years on the cutter ;-).

Women getting hit on by men is a whole lot different than men getting hit on by sick, mentally deranged perverted creatures in men's bodies.

“but it wouldn’t be productive for our national defense, and that’s the real point.”

That’s the only consideration. Most soldiers would probably say that DADT was working pretty well. The openly gay thing had one purpose only, and that was to deconstruct and demoralize the military.
