Either there are more pieces to this plot or they were on the way to a softer target, metro or bus area perhaps?
Just heard the ‘suspect’ who was arrested (others being pursued) is of Ethiopian descent. And had an “AQ/Taliban Rules” sign.
There’s lots of room to create havoc at the Pentagon, in the parking lots, bus stops, etc. Hey, they do what they can do for the cause! Remember the CIA shooting?

I sure hope the folks in NYC are on the lookout too. It would be AQ mo to do multiple bombings in and around the same places they hit the last time.
