All it takes is one stupid glitch like this to bring everything to a grinding halt.


What a great idea for a protest.

Figure out all the routes going away from the senate office buildings.

Buy a bunch of ‘clunkers’ and have one ‘break down’ on each of the routes at the same time.

Make it thursday afternoon before a three day weekend.

That scenario happens almost every day with cars breaking down, fender benders, etc. on the main routes. We don’t have the worst traffic in the country for nothing.

In this case, a car with a suspected bomb was found on road that runs alongside the Pentagon, so instead of cars crawling past and continuing on their merry way, a major bridge into DC and several 395 exits near the Pentagon were closed.
