Pakistan's ambassador to the United States, Husain Haqqani, told the Times that the CIA and the ISI "are working out mutually agreeable terms for their cooperation in fighting the menace of terrorism. It is not appropriate for us to get into the details at this stage."

If they're just now working out agreeable terms, there's plenty of basis for the story. They are not, never have been, and likely never will be a true ally in the WOT.

The US has a tiger by the tail; we can’t be too friendly, but we can’t let go, and Pakistan knows it.

Pakistan has a pile of nukes and if they start handing them out the world could get very sticky very quickly.

Pakistan know where Bin Laden was the whole time.

They accepted our money and blew us off. It is time Pakistan was treated like the enemy they are.

The least we can do is cut off all funds we are borrowing to send there.
