I happen to attend a church currently where the American or Christian flag is not displayed in the sanctuary and the only cross in the sanctuary is off to the side. The reason given is that the sermons are taped and sent to muslim countries all over the world and the pastor does not want to “offend” them by having our flags or the cross visible. I say TS if they are offended.......but that’s just me.
I’m church shopping.
Is it for the consumption of Christian or Islamic audiences? If Muslims are listening at all, then we ought to be glad it has an audience among them even if it has to be filmed in front of a plain white wall. And if it’s for Christians, why make it harder to get the material to them?
