same as VN....Commissioned Officer pilots got the medals (Not as often for the WO's they were considered working men too)...enlisted crew members got the...”Damned good shooting Boys!”

I flew a mission with a Headquarters Lt.Col. paper pusher ( he wanted to see what it was like)....Damned if he didn't get a purple heart from a piece of hot brass taking him in the chin...Not bitter...just tellin’ it like it is...Career Officers need PEZ!!....patriots do not..
