Ture but he does have a 10 year affiliation [ with the GOP Gov. Assoc. which will go a long ways towards helping him in many states. Secondly, both the national Senator group and National Representative group are headed by Texans this year so in some since that may help him within some states.....

That maybe a problem but he’ll have the networks in place quickly because of his other contacts, including business/governors/politicians/insiders, etc. imo....

I tend to see Perry as a more laid back person without the intense ambition/drive to be President. I just don’t see him wanting the scrutiny and invasion of privacy necessary to seek the job. The 50-50 at best is where I’d put him if that high. He’ll enjoy the immediate attention but not sure he wants the other that goes with it.
If Perry gets in he'll be in it to win. The buzz is that when he starts traveling he's getting ready to rumble. He has upcoming trips to Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans and a governor's prayer breakfast in Houston.
