Im guessing the answer is noSteve Jobs and geniuses at Apple will release the iPhone 5 (or the iPad 3) whenever they are damn well ready. Until then, I guess we will all be left drooling and craving.
Now back to Barack. The President of the United State loves his technology and for many years fanned out over his trusty BlackBerry. But things have changedObama now is ready to join the cult of Apple. Thats rightBarack Obama wants an iPhone. I dont blame him. I was a BlackBerry devotee for years. Then the iPhone came out. I was jealous, but patientI needed to fulfill my cell phone companys contract for my BB. When my contracted ended, I made the leap and havent looked back. According to BusinessInsider.com:
At a Chicago fundraiser President Obama was heard making the following comment about his BlackBerry: The Oval Office, I always thought I was going to have really cool phones and stuff. Im like, cmon guys, Im the president of the United States. Wheres the fancy buttons and stuff and the big screen? It doesnt happen.
Is the Presidents remark an aberration? I dont think so. Its part of an overall public shift in the devices market perception. A survey conducted by online market researchers Crowd Science in March 2010 revealed that 39 percent of BlackBerry owners would definitely or probably switch to an iPhone once their subscriptions expired. Why? Because BlackBerry devices have acquired a perception of being too serious and too business oriented and lacking a fun factorwhich is the very dimension driving the current surge of consumer infatuation with smartphones.
So the jury is out. The BlackBerry is no longer infatuating consumers, which is a dangerous but predictable transition.
So Obama isnt the only one whos over his BlackBerry. His timing is perfectrumors are circulating about the iPhone 5 debuting this year. According to gadgetsandgizmos.org:
Barf! The media pushing their two favorite products to the lemmings - Obama and Apple. Now they can just start marketing both to the sheeple in the same stories.
LOL!
He wants an iphone because it begins with his favorite letter.........’I’
Obama’s a towering intellect compared to that bald headed stooge
>He wants an iphone because it begins with his favorite letter.........I<
Post of the day.....and it’s only 7:50 am here in L.A.
So how much money from taxpayer funds will have to be spent to ensure the usurping kenyan has a secure iphone, just to cater to him girlish whims?
Is there a F U B O app in the works?
I doubt that it can ever be secure.
Include one in his severence package.
If Baraqqi doesn’t want a Blackberry, that means I do.
Oh, well. I question whether 0bama does anything of real importance anyway.
Republicans use Droids.
I used to have an iPhone 3. Thought it was a toy compared to my Blackberrys. But then I was a serious business user. I’m sure that the iPhone is improving by I haven’t really had an opportunity to ‘play’ with a ‘4’.
Didn’t the NSA have to ‘trick-up’ Barry’s Blackberry to make it super-secure? Wondering if Apple can, or would be willing, to make the same effort on behalf of Barry.
I’m also wondering how Barry is skirting the requirements that government communications be recorded for the national archives? Oh, never minds, the rules don’t apply to Democrats! (could you just imagine the controversy if GWB had wanted to maintain his own smartphone? they’d be screaming that he’s getting secret messages from Halliburton or something)
The Narcissist in Chief wants to tweet pics of his wiener
to himself.
