It’s hard to generalize with Hispanics, as they come from so many different countries/cultures, and often can be like night & day. Here in the northeast they certainly have gotten a lot of civil service jobs, with “bilingual education” being tailored almost exclusively to employ Hispanics as both teachers & aides on a large scale.

Definitely bi-lingual education is a Gov't jobs jobs jobs racket for Hispanics. Many people attribute the rise of the black middle class to them getting Gov't jobs either fairly or via affirmative action. You cannot say that the Hispanic middle class is a creation of them having Gov't jobs

Nonsense; every online job posting I respond to drags me through 15 minutes before asking me: are you black, Hispanic, female, or Pacific Islander? As long as I’m asked that question, every Hispanic (or black, r woman) is suspect and deserves to be.

Let them fight for the scraps; we’re liable to fight for Mexico just the same anyway.
