One of the many signs of the end is the persecution of the church. That’s sure happening.

Ummm, sorry. Being verbally attacked is not being persecuted. Persecution, as I understand it in the Scriptures, is dying for your faith in Jesus Christ or being deprived of the ability to work or own possessions because of your faith, or being imprisoned for your faith. Words hurt but words are just words. Whereas in many parts of the world the above mentioned actions do occur regularly and seem to be spreading, we in the US have avoided it BUT the day will come when it (persecution) will come. Our only responsibility it to be found faithful.
