We should call him by a mob name: Anthony “The Dick” Weiner.

That may, in fact, be the issue right there. Congressman Peter Tweeter would be perceived, by any sensible hiring authority, as completely valueless for any useful purpose other than collecting a federal salary for sending digital pictures of his wang to people he has never met in person. Seriously...what particular talent or skill does this clown exhibit otherwise? Absolutely none whatsoever.

Hence, his refusal to resign, borne of a complete inability to serve any useful function in the private sector economy. He has to keep this job, because he's woefully ill-equipped for anything else. He simply has no other option available, especially since he will soon bee responsible for the support and rearing of his own next generation of Peter Tweeters.

I wonder if there's not some truth to this. I would like to know more about his lifestyle. When we think of these politicians, we so often think they have limitless cash reserves, but my guess is that's rarely the case.

You figure this guy has a place in Queens and DC. That's expensive.

Anybody know what this guy did pre-politics? Is he an attorney? Would he be capable of going into private practice? That's not much of a living for a lot of lawyers these days - you really need to be good to make a go of it.

His government retirement and healthcare means he’ll never have to worry about finding a job.

Just saw a link on Drudge pointing to that very fact.

Good eye.
