Despite our differences, I wish your Mother a speedy recovery. Prayers for her and you, it is a very difficult situation you are both in right now.

As A 24-7 caregiver, I can tell you that you have to have a lot of hope.strength, stamina, and most of all you have to be very positive and upbeat.

You are a sweet lady. Thank you for your concern, samantha.

It has been a tough week, Mom is 83 and her scooter flipped while she was going down the street to visit with some of he friends at her church. She fell on her hip and still managed with some help to attend the event. Last Thursday night my 85 year old Dad noticed Mom could not get up to go to the bathroom. he took her to the emergency room and the rest is history.

Our family has a broken heart because she is the best Mom and woman ever. Sweetest and kindest.

After surgery she developed fever and chest congestion. It was bad. But...she is improving and trying to take therapy like a trooper.

You are right about not letting her get dispirited and staying positive. She is there for 3 weeks and now she is pining to see her baby, a little Sheltie dog she adores. We took a picture of puppy and framed it for her! LOL

Thanks girl. I appreciate your caring.
