Considered a Tea Party favorite, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) continues to garner positive reactions from conservative voters as she touts her pro-life stance and vows to repeal Obamacare.
(snip)
In a brief interview with The Christian Post, Bachmann discussed two issues that are near and dear to her heart faith and family.
(snip)
Bachmann declined to answer the last question: If you choose to not pursue the presidency, what would you think about a Sarah Palin attempt?

And how many elections have you won, and how many millions have you made, and how many liberal heads have you caused to explode?
How dare she not answer a moot question about a potential opponent who isn't even running.
It was a "what if" question (which she didn't have the guts to answer) that implicitly recognized the fact that Gov Palin has not announced.
She had an opportunity to be magnanimous, but chose not to. Gracious she is not.
Run Sarah run......Please.
One major thing wrong with your comment, the question didn't call for her to bash Palin, it called for an opinion on a Palin run if Bachman didn't run. Why would she have to bash palin? She wouldn't. She didn't answer because she didn't want to say anything good about Palin and if she did it would have been a lie.
The woman is two faced and not the person she would have tea partiers believe she is.
Um, that is the Liberal Mantra. By repeating it (especially here) you not only bring your level of intellect into question, you also bring into question any credibility of being a Conservative.
Bachmann declined to answer: If you choose to not pursue the presidency, what would you think about a Sarah Palin attempt?
I view this as Bachmann’s limited ability to think and express herself as compared to Palin. Palin is better at those things than anyone else out there. Were there a Palin-Bachmann debate, I pity Bachmann. In that debate Palin would destroy her in a nice, respectful sort of way.
“My ‘somethings wrong’ alarm went off before the 2010 elections”
Ditto here. She’s a little too hyper and flibbertygibbet for me, and her eyes seem to dart all over the place during interviews. It’s un-nerving and sends up red flags. Then Ed Rollins...? Puh-leeze.
The ongoing establishment plan to herd conservatives:
1988 - Check
1992 - Fail
1996 - Fail
2000 - Check
2004 - Check
2008 - Fail
I am getting increasingly surprised when I go on Cain or Bachmann threads that they get savaged worse than Hitlery anymore. An unanswered question now is a sign of someone being a Tea Party phony and a closet Marxist? It appears to me that Palin supporters are reading a little to deep into this for a justification to throw a potential Conservative rival overboard.
Still a Jimmy Carter Democrat, eh, Michelle?
Et tu, Michelle?
Alas, poor Michelle, I knew thee well!
That shocks me. Would you have a link that verifies that?(Not that I don’t trust your word, but that is significant, and not in a good way, IMHO)
Ditto on that.
Shameful.
I don’t know that this has been reported. I came to know about it from a private conversation with someone who had talked to her former pastor.
This backed up (in part) something I had seen on this blog:http://ichabodthegloryhasdeparted.blogspot.com/search/label/Michelle%20Bachmann.
What???????????????????????????
Are you 100% sure about this? This is a game changer for her, if true. Any attempt to appeal to evangelical voters would be dead.
The ELCA started ordaining openly gay people as ministers a while back.
Again, are you 100% sure about this? Do you have a link or any documentation?
The Rollins business certainly solidified the put-off feeling I’ve had for months about her.
Yep because the RINOs believe it they add a conservative TP favorite, the grassroots will fall in line.
Not gonna happen.
Truly. Bachmann wasn’t my first choice, and I don’t give her much of a chance to win the White House as a member of Congress, but I saw her as being a conservative candidate. But she has seriously and probably irreparably damaged her brand through Rollins and now her own actions.
I just think she is scared.
I’m glad that you can articulate it. When I get that feeling, it’s very hard to explain why.
Eyes are the windows to the soul.
“the question didn’t call for her to bash Palin”
It gave her an opportunity to show her skills at navigating through a risky topic, and she shrunk from the opportunity.
