Considered a Tea Party favorite, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) continues to garner positive reactions from conservative voters as she touts her pro-life stance and vows to repeal Obamacare.
(snip)
In a brief interview with The Christian Post, Bachmann discussed two issues that are near and dear to her heart faith and family.
(snip)
Bachmann declined to answer the last question: If you choose to not pursue the presidency, what would you think about a Sarah Palin attempt?

You are a sweet lady. Thank you for your concern, samantha.
It has been a tough week, Mom is 83 and her scooter flipped while she was going down the street to visit with some of he friends at her church. She fell on her hip and still managed with some help to attend the event. Last Thursday night my 85 year old Dad noticed Mom could not get up to go to the bathroom. he took her to the emergency room and the rest is history.
Our family has a broken heart because she is the best Mom and woman ever. Sweetest and kindest.
After surgery she developed fever and chest congestion. It was bad. But...she is improving and trying to take therapy like a trooper.
You are right about not letting her get dispirited and staying positive. She is there for 3 weeks and now she is pining to see her baby, a little Sheltie dog she adores. We took a picture of puppy and framed it for her! LOL
Thanks girl. I appreciate your caring.
What is the saying: All is fair in love and war.
This is a war and our country will suffer immeasurable damage if the marxist remains in power. Right now we determine who will lead the charge; no Rino's nor wimps need apply.
I like Bachmann; however, relatively speaking she is but Palin-Lite the uncola. I prefer Palin; however, she may or may not runand she may or may not succeed if she does run. Meanwhile, Bachmann will give Palin a run for the money in areas that idiots like Romney at most equivocates upon.
We need to know clearly where these people stand on many issues and a competetive trial by fire should be able to separate the wheat from the chaff and the wimps from the leaders. Sometimes it is only in adverse situations that the weak crumble and the leaders become evident.
As Palin would say: Bring It On!!!
Let's Get Ready To Rumble!!!!!!!

Hhey look, I don’t fault you for having a potential candidate you admire. It is okay with me.
I just like Michele and will defend her just as you defend Palin.
Neither are liberals, so it is all okay.
Truth is, neither has entered the 2012 race, so we both may end up looking for another.
I am sure you already know this, but falls and broken bones are what will bring elderly people down fast, even fairly healthy ones.
Keeping her from getting pneumonia is a job in itself, and every Family member should try to take turns being with the loved one while they are in the Hospital or rehab. Nurses are too busy doing paperwork to really give the best care that our loved ones need.
If your Mom’s dog is a talker or a barker you might record her interacting with other Family members and then play it for her. That should lift her spirits, I know it would mine.
If you find articles that do actually show she switched to ELCA, please post them.
I think that you should list GOP vice Presidential candidate on that list, it was a historical milestone.
There is a mega-difference between matching one’s own ideas and accomplishments with a competitor and going on a full throttled personal attack. michele bachmann just hit the lowest of the low by attacking Palin PERSONALLY. And she didn’t even have the guts to do it herself. She sent a shark out to do it for her. Now she is hiding. She has tweeted a couple of irrelevant tweets, has not updated her own website since June 2, and people on her Facebook page are complaining that comments on this subject are being systematically removed. Some of these people have been posting there for over a year and have supported her.
What bachmann has done is vile and unworthy of a true Conservative. When you set out to slit a rival’s throat by sneaking up behind their back like this for fear he/she can whup you in a face to face fair fight, you have blown any and all credibility you ever had.
bachmann is over. She didn’t manage to draw anyone’s blood but her own...as it should be.
ALL of us gave her the benefit of the doubt when this first happened. We waited for her to denounce these unseemly comments by rollins. She didn’t. All can do now is surmise that these are HER tactics...and that she deeply misjudged the depth of TEA Party support. She believed her own hype and allowed the lsm to raise her to heights she never achieved on her own.
She attacked when she thought Sarah was having a weak moment with the Paul Revere kerfluffle. That is called piling on. The TEA Party came about because we want honesty and principle from our representatives. THIS ain’t it. This ends bachmann and she might even lose her seat because of it.
You are right. This is far too important to be trusted to the untrustworthy and the vindictive who puts their own ambition before country and principle. This is the kind of behaviour you expect from hillary clinton.
Goodbye, michele. I have now added you to the list of names I refuse to capitalize because I simply do not respect you any longer.
What are you all talking about? Bachmann gave a pretty nice response:
“Bachmann: Governor Palin is a friend and I know if she runs she will bring a unique background to the field.”
It seems that the original poster is try to sow division in the field. Divide and conquer?
If Palin doesn't run, or if Palin does run but doesn't articulate a clear no amnesty position, Bachmann would have been my next choice.
Not anymore. Cain's now second on my list.
Rollins' comments are dumb. Bachmann's silence about Rollins' comments is dumb. The Rollins hire is dumb.
I find it interesting that the LSM trashes Bachmann for several years, and then suddenly, they turn on the dime, and they promote Bachmann. The turning point seems to be Rollins trashing Palin. The turning point seems to be the LSM's need to split the conservative vote in the primaries.
Does Bachmann not U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D this? And if she does, that's even worse.
You obviously don't know me very well, or haven't been paying attention to recent events.
