Linda Tripp and husband own a Christmas shop in Virginia. She went through a bout with breast cancer.
Time Magazine tracked her down and got this quote:
“I believe President-elect Obama possesses an instantly recognizable purity of soul that, coupled with his brilliance, and, of course, his eloquence, brought quite unimaginable and long-awaited magic to the country, transforming red and blue states, quite literally, into ‘The Color Purple.’”
So much for her being part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
Ha. That sounds like the answer of a woman who is looking over her shoulder waiting for the zombies to attack. She’s learned her lesson well.
And she wasn't being facetious?? Purity of soul? Long awaited magic? Is this kind of over the top, superlative laden drivel confined only to the left or also on the right? She makes him sound like a Messiah come to earth, larger than life, here to bring heaven to earth person, like what we've heard of cult members describing the leader. No living person can be all that, can they? She'd be much more believable if she expounded merely on her perception of his eloquence and intelligence and hopes for our nation.
