Misogyny? Yes and no. I'm expounding on the article's author's idea of misogyny. It's not just a guy tweeting pics of his junk to various ladies that gives that impression, it's that he's a newlywed sending them from his workplace as a public figure.
Maybe Im missing something but it seems like these women were into twitter sex with him....ugly as he is
Well, I think that's possible.
Sounds to me like he adores women at least sexually Weiner is a nut and unfaithful to his wife but I thought misogyny...a loaded word like racism today meant woman hater
I agree more men are unfairly labelled misogynists but he would treat them as more than twitter sex toys if he thought better of them (and maybe he was caught before he could act on that) - or his wife.
It's today used to just kill any logic and rationale to a discussion much the way bigot, racist, homophobe, Islamaphobe and even on occasion anti-Semite are used. Someone like the albeit very lovely ( I have a thing for brown eyes and blonde hair...I married one)Kirsten Powers uses to just label men with whom she has profound differences over how they view women even though with Weiner his actions doom him all by themselves.
I guess I'm just trying to say the word is more often than not used as a pejorative to label older alpha males like me by women who aren't really happy anyhow and often desire a strong man to be a strong partner they can lean on but they have been brainwashed to not admit that publicly.
There are still holdouts from that femme mindset down here but even back in the 80s I would see women in New York fall in that trap and then wake up at 40 childless with their big career feeling very empty...it was tragic actually...our culture would have benefited from those accomplished women breeding and parenting.
My aforementioned Skidmore gal told me a year after she left my never home butt for a sensitive Jewish guitar player and that had fizzled that at least with me she never had to wonder who was the man in the deal...it's a latent thing I'm convinced with feminists...the attractive one anyhow. I had sadly moved on to a Brasilian love affair and had to say goodbye again but moved me. She never married even though very handsome and is now a Dean at one of the largest schools in the country that uses the color Orange and likes cows...hint.
You know I don;t totally blame young women though over this conflict...so many young men are so weak today and girly like...good God, even in Nashville.
Or they are thuggy and shiftless and can't speak right...
it's just awful looking at it from afar now at 53
