I think it would be completely stupid to give attention to an inside the beltway story that’s not getting much play. Deal with the problem privately but be ready with a comment if it does become a story. With some of the comments here you’d think this was on the front page of every newspaper and the top story on all the nightly newscasts. Most people know nothing about it and probably have no idea who Ed Rollins is.
One thing is certain now, whatever day Michele announces in Iowa, Palin will be somewhere in Iowa that same day. Bank on it.

Listen, The TEA Party did not chase after Bachmann, she chased after IT, and then she tried to coopt it as if she was its leader. It was pure manipulation...and she has failed.
THIS was a huge mistake for Bachmann. The American PEOPLE value loyalty. Not this. THIS is a stab in the back of someone who endorsed and campaigned for her. We didn’t like it when Sarah endorsed John McCain, but we damn sure understood it and forgave her for it. And she had FAR more reason to withhold her endorsement than Bachmann will EVER have for THIS on her best day. It makes her appear petty and weak and tells the world she is so insecure that she believes she cannot best Sarah in a fair fight.
