Actually, if I remember correctly, a policy memo was released by the SECDEF stating that DoD employees on commercial aircraft will fly coach class, no matter what rank. If they are Flag officers or very high ranking civilians, they will usually fly in GOV aircraft anyway.

Yup, and more proof is that I work and travel with several 0-6’s quite regularly and they’re right back there in Coach with my enlisted butt. LOL
