No arm twisting. He lawyered up and is trying to reduce the civil lawsuits that are bound to be flying soon. His initial lying however is a different matter. If we had a Justice Department he would of been met with handcuffs (he might of liked it) when he left the hotel.

I think the media pushed this in order to protect him from further embarassment by Breitbart releasing additional photos. Now, their task in damage control and working to kill the story. The "he apologized - it's over" strategy.
