Sarah Palin reminds me in some respects of what happens when a person foolishly attempts to work with some types of steel.
They are attacking her like an idiot with a portable drill without oil on the bit, the more they try to drill the hotter the steel gets and thus hardening it and then the drilling stops because the drill is ruined.
Or like trying to force a steel threading tap too fast and it breaks off in the hole, at that point you are stuck with trying to remove a broken piece of high strength tool steel that resists almost anything thrown at it.
Yes Sarah Palin is most definitely tool grade steel, she has been folded, heat treated and machined to work with precision.
Eventually those that hate her will be like the proverbial room of a thousand monkey’s that given enough time can eventually perform a miracle. But for now all they do is chitter away and fling their feces upon her.
But who is in the cage and who has the freedom?
It’s like when you’re trying to assemble a rifle bolt by hand and you have the main spring pushed on and compressed, and you turn around to look for the keeper pin and your finger slips off the spring. All that compressed energy released at once is a (sometimes painful) wonder to behold.
