After interviewing Sarah Palin, Chris Wallace talked about her with his panel of guests and revealed that he was very impressed with her appearance. Unlike previous times when he interviewed her, Wallace noticed this wasnt just you betcha she was pretty sharp on the issues.
Wallace was eager to see if anyone else agreed with his review of Palins interview:
I thought she was a boffo performance today. It was the first time that I ever saw her and thought this woman is a serious if she decides to run candidate for President. And a serious possibility to be President.
Besides a somewhat strange historical discussion of Paul Revere, Palin spoke confidently on issues ranging from the debt ceiling and foreign affairs, to her unequivocal support for Congressman Paul Ryans budget proposal. With Wallace now convinced that Palin can be a serious candidate, if she wants to be, it will be interesting to see whether other skeptics might be swayed now or if Palin still needs more detailed policy talks, and less Paul Revere, moving forward.
Watch the clip below from Fox:

I think it would be wise to wait until she decides to run. People are getting way to carried away with Mrs. Palin when, up to this day, she hasn’t decided to be a candidate. She seems to be a very nice lady.
I’m not crazy about the “you betchas” but it’s because I’ve never lived where it was a speech pattern. They don’t come into play about whether or not I would vote for her. They are certainly not as annoying as the Obama whistle or some other speech patterns I can think of.
I’m much more concerned about the candidates beliefs, political views and policies, etc.
“What did the other panelists have to say?”
Well CNN went to play a clip of Palin and the clip didn’t work.
There is another thread running with an article about the panelists bashing Palin, including Billy Kristol. It was not a nice discussion.
Chris Wallace being a true go getter in the MSM finally takes the bull by the tail and faces the situation like a man.
That may be what he told you, but I seriously doubt that was the real reason, it was just a simple answer to cover his real feelings.
She also said Palin feels compelled to speak to every issue, then she said she should shut up and talk more on issues. Color me ?????
Ba-da-BOOM! Nice one!
“I know a guy who is a college graduate, retired from the banking industry and “seemingly” intelligent. He voted for Obama because he didn’t like Sarah’s “you betcha”. What a friggin’ meat head.”
What’s remarkable about arguments from the left is, you take the most so-called intelligent ones and you take the most flaming stupid ones, and they are pretty much the same.
I wish the pres_ent could be told the same with true sincerity for a change. (outside of the golf course)
Note: To all those suffering from PDS, please do not read the following comments, as they may cause your head to explode.
In one question, Wallace said, “What would a President Palin do under those circumstances?”
She didn’t argue with the “President Palin” title, she just answered the question.
Anyone who thinks she’s not running is in for a rude awakening.
“50% of Americans are below average.”
Hey... I copyrighted that phrase 30 years ago.
Then why is he on TV all the time, giving his opinion?
It would seem to me that this is the beginning of a string of talking heads who suddenly 'see' that Palin is a good candidate.
It's all about the money (their popularity rating).
Have you seen him golf?
Yogi Berra would be proud.
On a side note, there seems to be a tendency among some Freepers to condemn anyone who might be convinced to agree with us on anything. Since we were here first, anyone who disagreed with us in the past in therefore ineligible to be an ally in the future. If this had been the standard in years past, "real" Conservatives would have rejected that old Hollywood union organizer, Ronald Reagan.
So true. Chris Wallace may lean left, but he has always seemed like an honest and fair man, unlike his dad. Bob
I feel a purging of historic proportion is in order.
