The way this thing was phrased is just weirder than weird.
The Daily show is an entertainment type of thing.
Fox news is a cable show. Stewart is on a network show.
And as someone said upthread, why not compare Stewart’s ratings to CNN or better, MSNBC.
It’s obvious they want the viewer to deduce something from this silly headline when all that should be deduced is that journalists today are a joke to the profession.
As has been mentioned several times before, why not compare Stewarts ratings to CNN or MSNBC.

Comedy Central is also a cable network, available in slightly fewer homes than Fox News.

Untrue. Comedy Central is a cable network just like Fox. Except Fox actually has greater cable saturation.
