I think Sarah is gorgeous! My husband is the one who’s critical of the way she looks... too sexy librarian for him.
I do wish she’d modulate her voice though... this is a problem a lot of female candidates have.
The minute she gets excited and sounds passionate, I tend to tune out. Almost to the point where she give me a headache.
I am in the ABO camp... whoever gets the nomination will get my vote.
More likely he’s rolling in his grave at the smug ignorance of his descendant.
Here’s a reminder for those of you who actually believe that Palin didn’t get it right:

I don’t know why I watch these panel discussions. Bill Kristol is such an embarrassment.
I think it was a slip of the mind and tongue for Obama to use the number 57. Someone on FR once mentioned there are 57 Muslim countries in the world. I haven’t confirmed this but tend to believe Obama would know the number.
Sarah: "[Revere] warned the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms."Revere warned the British Regulars that the militia were ready and able to defend their armories and supplies of gunpowder. To Revere, that aspect of defeating the mission of the British Regulars, the aspect of preventing the seizure of the arms and powder of the colonial militia, was as important as protecting Sam Adams from capture. It is necessary to use the word "Regulars", because the colonial militia was also a British force.catfish1957: "nothing near the innovative way Revere warned the populus [sic] of the Brittish [sic] invasion."
Paul Revere:
[Describing his capture] Out started six [Regular British] officers, seized my bridle, put their pistols to my breast, ordered me to dismount, which I did. One of them, who appeared to have the command there, and much of a gentleman, asked me where I came from; I told him. He asked what time I left. I told him, he seemed surprised, said 'Sir, may I crave your name?' I answered 'My name is Revere.'I knew what they were after; that I had alarmed the country all the way up, that their boats were caught aground, and I should have 500 men there soon."
Thus in warning the colonists Revere was warning the British--the British Colonial Milita--and by warning the six British Regulars who captured him, Revere was also warning the British.
It is the later warning, which Revere made to the British Regulars, to which Professor Palin referred. I hope you are now more properly educated and schooled as to our great American History in this major event of it.
Please bring an apple in for Professor Palin tomorrow as an expression of due respect.
The LAST place I would go for a History lesson is the MSM.
As we know from their own mouths they intentionally propagandize everything. Plus they have a pathological hatred of Conservs.
Hey guy, it’s her. In the middle of all the whining about arcane details that historians parse,,,, the anti-Sarah whiners miss one point.
Sarah was out there telling you her stance on Guns. Romney for example signed an assault rifle ban. Obama is positioning daily for an anti-gun move, etc.
Sarah was pumped because the British were made aware that they would get a fight if they came to take our guns. That’s what i most care that she has 100% correct.
Wrong. The primary reason for Revere’s ride was to warn against a British Invasion, the protection of the cache of arms was a secondary or tertiary reason. For Heavens sakes I am in SAR, you think I might know a little about Revolutionary War history?
Which is nothing near the innovative way Revere warned the populus of the Brittish invasion.
Yeah, Palin knew where she was going, and one would think the at least she would do a little homework before fielding questions from the media.
It would be more productive if YOU actually studied history. Sarah was right and you are wrong. Frickin' PDS bum. Running your mouth without knowing what you are talking about and falling in with the no nothing media.
As always the wonderful AP shows their "incomplete bias." Revere did indeed (along with William Dawes) ride to Lexington to warn Hancock and Adams of the troops intention to arrest them. That was the first objective. The second objective, that the AP so conveniently avoids mentioning, was for Revere and Dawes to ride to Concord to rouse the locals to fight back against the royal troops intention to take away their munitions stored there. That is, Palin was right that we were acting in defiance of the Crown by defending our right to have arms in order to oppose tyranny. It wasn't the smoothest rendition of the story but it was historically correct.
See my earlier post. If you think the absolute primary intent of Revere’s actions was to protect the caches of arms, then you love rewriting history. Bub... I sat through a 3 hour SAR explanation of the Alarm. Saving the guns without alerting troops doesn’t make sense does it? You are the one who needs History 101 lessons.
Revere was captured which is when he warned the Regulars(British)that the colonists was fight to retain their arms. There was no "standard" to adhere too. Sarah was 100% correct and anyone who doubts her words are the ones in the wrong.
You are not the only descendant son of a veteran of the War of Revolution, others here are as well, and also of veterans of the Colonial Wars. But sir, in great folly it is YOU who repeat what is a claim of ignorance. Professor Palin is quite right on all accounts.
From Primary source documents. Revere’s account of the midnight ride.
http://www.americanrevolution.org/revere.html
57 states...corpse-man.. his muslim faith... his speech on 2010 on Memorial Day to those who paid the “ultimate sacrifice”.... etc, etc.
Quite right???? The whole Alarm event was a gun grab?. This is getting funnier by the post.
Here in his own words is the actuality of what he did when caught by the British:
“I observed a Wood at a Small distance, & made for that.
When I got there, out Started Six officers, on Horse back,
and orderd me to dismount;-one of them, who appeared
to have the command, examined me, where I came from,
& what my Name Was? I told him. it was Revere, he as-
ked if it was Paul? I told him yes He asked me if
I was an express? I answered in the afirmative. He
demanded what time I left Boston? I told him; and
aded, that their troops had catched aground in passing the River,
and that There would be five hundred Americans there
in a short time, for I had alarmed the Country all the way up.”
Palin was quite right in what she said. She was pointing out the ballsiest part of his ride, at a time when the GOP could use some more balls itself. (And you are BTW not the only one on colonial descent on this board.)
Very well stated. It's amazing how these rabid anti-Sarah smug elitists RINO types grab onto anything to show their irrational hatred of her.
I can't wait to donate to Sarah's campaign. She will crush the Marxist!
Get a clue, read some more and quit bragging about your history credentials when you don't have the brains to figure out what Sarah, and I, actually said.
Rewrite history? BS, I quoted it accurately and I never said Revere's primary purpose was to warn the British.
You are absolutely correct. He believes there are 60 states.
