Joseph Nicolosi, a prominent psychologist, has studied the causes of homosexuality in depth for many years and believes it is caused primarily by the failure of the child to bond to its same-sex parent and thus, fully developed its psychological identity as a male. There are a number of other psychologists and psychiatrists who support this view and who also believe some homosexuals can overtime this gender identity problem, especially the sooner they enter therapy.
I spoke with Nicolosi a couple of years ago to get his side of a story. He’s a good guy who is often misrepresented by the media.
