Open primaries, GOP dirty tricks against Palin, GOP insiders (like McCain's people and Romney's people in the past) spreading lies about her, and trying to marginalize her.

No I don't agree that Palin could beat Romney for the nomination, although that is what most Conservatives would want IMO. But not the Grand OBSOLETE Party though.

The Washington elite are more afraid of her than the democrats I am starting (continuing actually) to believe.

I do think she could beat Romney in the general election though.

That is if Romney runs as a third party candidate from the republican party.

To the Washington establishment, all conservatives are the enemy and must be prevented from taking power, and if that means pulling a Scozzafava in a three way race, they will do just that.

We are no longer willing to be herded into the stables by the GOP leadership, and the entire political establishment fears they are finally losing control over us. I don't see this ending well.

How many states have open primaries? In caucus states who runs the caucus? Can independent voters choose or participate in caucus states? Open primaries everyone participates!
